Police are searching for the suspect who allegedly shot and killed a Connecticut mother outside her home early Sunday, ctnow.com reports.
Authorities say a car drove up to Quiana Dismuke's Hartford home at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Then, words were exchanged between people in the car and people outside the home and someone in the car opened fire.
Dismuke was struck three times. Friends drove her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police tell The Hartford Courant they are looking for a Dodge Charger with Rhode Island license plate 607610.
Dismuke, who has a 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son, wrote on her Facebook page about how she loved her children, ctnow.com reports.
"Living and Loving my life staying away from people that mean me no good," Dismuke wrote. "Movin up slowly taking life one day @ a time, praying and being thankful..Loving my children with everything in me..STRESS free POSITIVE energy is all im craving."
Dismuke was the city's sixth homicide victim of the year.
